Sourcing customers

We have over the years maintained a pipeline of happy and satisfied customers mainly from Airbnb who are now confident to book with us through AIMS (see enclosed Airbnb profile page and some recent reviews). We have now commenced a journey to replicate our success in Airbnb, Booking.com to aims.homes

Cleaning and replenishing consumables and linen

We clean residential units/furnished apartments to the highest standards and through our trained housekeeping executives, we ensure the highest cleanliness standards are maintained in all the units we manage. Through AIMS we are able to track the consumption of tissue paper, soap, shower gel, shampoo and other consumables as well as movement of linen within the units we manage and account for them through AIMS on a unit by unit basis. We also have a laundry operation where our linen is cleaned and treated to the highest professional standards.

Managing, paying and tracking payments to service providers

We have over the years identified a reliable team of service providers including cleaners, electricians, plumbers etc. who we have engaged on a permanent and part time basis to ensure our clients get the best service. We pay these service providers through Openfloat (a Pesapal disbursements solution) and we are able to track these expenses on a unit by unit basis.

We are currently developing a solution to help the best service providers secure the best jobs in the industry and guarantee them a reasonable pipeline of work. We are also in the initial stages of developing a disbursements option within AIMS to support easy payment of service providers and support the accounting module.

This includes text and email notifications when smart lock activity is detected where there is no booking in AIMS, a booking has not been paid for or approved as paid for manually (in cash or through a direct transfer to account).

Note that all booking paid for by M-Pesa or card (PesaPal) are automatically detected and do not trigger any door activity texts or emails. All bookings generated in AIMS also trigger text and email notifications so do payments. Each booking has its own six digit unlock code valid only for the duration of the stay.

Accounting Module

We have recently finalised the accounting Module which draws and processes data from AIMS to ensure the performance of each unit can be tracked and monitored on a monthly basis. The module generates data for monthly Management accounts that feed into the Financial Statements making accounting for each unit a walk in the park as it draws data from AIMS and Openfloat.
